Ask Yourself These Questions To Help Create A Stand Out Resume

Have you ever wondered what makes you stand out or have you had a hard time trying to figure out what unique qualities that you can add to your resume? One mistake people make is thinking that they don't have any skills, experience or other qualities that make them stand out. 

By digging deep to reflect on everything that you've done and asking yourself the right questions, you'll find many ways that you have stood out inside and outside the workplace that would be perfect to add to your resume.

Here are some questions that you can ask yourself to uncover qualities that make you stand out to use in your resume. Make sure to create action and result job accomplishments that show what you did and the positive result or impact of your actions.

  • Do I have any skills that are hard to find or that make me irreplaceable?
  • Were there any times that I went above and beyond what was expected of me and what did I accomplish?
  • Do others consider me to be the go-to person for something or are there problems that I can solve that others cannot?
  • Have I prevented any workplace crisis that would have been bad for the company, team or customers?
